Welcome to Dreamy Designs By Dawn!

I am a retired teacher and after creating a few fluid art paintings for my new home in 2020, I have been hooked ever since! I absolutely love experimenting with the different techniques of acrylic fluid art and color.

On my website, you will find videos showing the process of how I create my fluid art paintings. I will also show tutorials on how I go about mixing my acrylic paints, creating color palettes and blowing out the paint. Videos will also include pieces created for a client or paintings I will have for purchase.

Brilliant Blue Obsession

This triptych was created for my daughter. I used three 12" x 36" gallery wrapped canvases. You can find out more about these pieces using the video link above.

Payne's Gray Triptych

I create this triptych for my stairs. I used 12" x 36" canvases. I love how the Payne's Gray, Ivory Black, Sterling Silver and Pewter came together on this one. It looks more blue than this picture captured.

Garnet & Pewter Passion

I created this diptych for a family friend. I used two 24" x 30" gallery wrapped canvases.

Bluish Green Forcefield

I was inspired by a couple other fluid artists to try this dutch pour for my bathroom. I used a 24" x 24" gallery wrapped canvas. Love the negative space in the center and how the colors turned out!!

Blue Irises

These two 12" x 24" canvases were created for my bedroom. This picture did not capture the amazing shimmer and cells produced.

Deep Sapphire Addiction

The Deep Sapphire and Pewter really helped these pieces pop. I used three 12" x 36" gallery wrapped canvases. This triptych happens to be my very first pour. Wish I made a video of it!

Purple Splash

This Dutch Pour was done on a 14" x 14" gallery wrapped canvas. I hung this piece in my guest bathroom.

Purple Craving (Set)

I created this Dutch Pour duo to go with the "Purple Splash" art piece. They compliment each other well. Love how the purples, Gold and Copper blended together!!

KC Chiefs Dutch Pour

This piece was created for my husband. We have always been Chief fans. The colors turned out great together!

Black & Crimson Interference

Exquisite Blue Combustion

This piece was created on a 24" x 24" gallery wrapped canvas. The background is white and black. I used various shades of blue as well as some turquoise shades and a violet blue. To see the video for this piece, go to:
